Please join us at the regular meeting of the Boston Refoundation Caucus. We're a caucus of revolutionary socialists within Boston DSA working on discovering and carrying out a communist praxis for the 21st century.
Our meetings will typically feature discussion of ongoing organizing, political discussions, and logistical work. All who are interested in discussing how revolutionary socialists can work within the DSA are welcome to join.
We’re meeting in the Chavez room of the Democracy Center. The Democracy Center is partially wheelchair accessible, no accessible bathroom on site. The Mandela, Parks, and Chavez rooms are accessible, but the Library is not. Wheelchair users are welcome to use the accessible restroom at Daedalus while we plan our improvements for bathroom accessibility. At this meeting, we'll be exploring the impact of capitalism on parenting and its connection to mental health (of both parents & children!), as well as the chapter's Child Watch & Intergenerational Organizing 2019 priority and how we can support it. We'll discuss the following readings:

We will be meeting in the First Church's Tower Room (go through the double doors and through the Sanctuary).
Children are welcome, and child watch will be provided!
ACCESSIBILITY: First Church is making strides in becoming a more accessible building and community for individuals with disabilities, for everyone. The Sanctuary is wheelchair accessible. There are two accessible restrooms on the first floor, and two accessible (or disability) parking spaces on Garden Street in front of the church. Remember that use of these spaces requires a disability plate or placard. In addition, a push-button automatic door opener has recently been installed at the 11 Garden Street entrance (glass door) near the playground through the gate on the north side of the church.

At the Barnstorm we will bring all attendees up to speed on how Medicare for All would work, establishing healthcare as a human right for all while reducing healthcare costs; We will then discuss the pathway to victory, and how we can overcome the power of the healthcare industry through grassroots mobilization; and we will then agree on an organizing plan to win over Members of Congress in the Boston area, and sign everyone up to carry out that organizing plan!

The Refoundation Caucus of Boston DSA is hosting a discussion on the Bolivarian Revolution and the ongoing US-backed coup in Venezuela. * Synth performance with vocal collage
